There are just a few hours left of 2017! I am so ready to say GOOD-BYE, good riddance and don’t let the door hit you!
2017 was a year lacking in balance. Especially work life balance. As I sit here reflecting on the year behind me I feel like all I did was work and stress. While I KNOW that isn’t true, that is how it feels.
2017 had a LOT of high points too! Jan started off with the 1st Vegas meeting I ever planned! And boy was it fun (minus the part where I met the hotel medics for a stubbed toe that wouldn’t stop bleeding) – VIP all the way! Definitely a memorable experience! I had some fun 2017 travel. I actually took the 1st full week of vacation in MANY (many years)! I joined a new Church and new LIFEgroup! I strengthened my relationship with Jesus. I had a TON of pool weekends this summer (you know how much I love my pool time)! I embarked on new business endeavors (stay tuned for details). I developed new friendships and strengthened existing ones! While I missed the Long Beach Boat Parade because I was sick (as hell) I created many, many memories with my SoCal family. I did not make it to Jersey this year, but next year IS a new year! There are many more high points and 2017 memories too!
While 2017 was a struggle, I trust God’s plan for my life. I know He has a purpose for my lack of balance and the level of exhaustion I am fighting. I know 2018 is going to be an amazing year. Though I am fully prepared for it to start out rough (neck surgery being schedule – details TK), I know it is going to be a life altering year (in a good, no amazing way!).
As we say good-bye to 2017 I want to wish everyone a happy and safe night! May 2018 be a year of happiness, health and prosperity! May 2018 be a year of love, hope, and joy!
